Cordata Center
Cordata Center is a mixed-use development in the Cordata Neighborhood in Bellingham. To date three multi-family apartment buildings have been constructed, providing 300+ housing units. NES provided:
a full suite of environmental consulting services for the project including a wetland delineation of the 50-acre project site and the 39-acre off site mitigation area
mitigation plan development
permit support with an Individual Permit from the Army Corps
Individual Water Quality Certification from the Department of Ecology

U-Haul of Ferndale
This project included expansion of the Barrett Road U-Haul facility to include two new storage buildings and alternative access. NES provided:
a critical area assessment
mitigation plan for unavoidable impacts

Barkley Village
Barkley Village is an approximately 260-acre site in Bellingham. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, NES provided environmental services to successfully obtain approval of an Urban Village Plan and Development Agreement between the owners and the City of Bellingham. For this project, NES provided:
a comprehensive critical area assessment
onsite advance mitigation plan
continues to provide support in permitting additional offsite mitigation required

Boilerworks
This mixed-use development project includes both residential and commercial space, along with public access- a pathway connecting 10th Street to Taylor Dock. This redevelopment project abuts Bellingham Bay and was once a large industrial building (former Reid Boiler Works Building). NES provided:
a critical area assessment and shoreline restoration plan in order to obtain project permits and ensure compliance with the local Shoreline Master Program (SMP).
